Chiang Mai has a wide range of menus across the city, from Italian to Japanese, Thai to American. For anyone living here or even just visiting, the options are endless. If you can’t decide what menu to try tonight, why not try one of these new restaurants?

Uncle J’s

For those searching for the ultimate gourmet burger experience, deciding on the right restaurant can be tough, just like the beef often served up. So look no further, Uncle J’s is here. Opened just over two months ago, Uncle J’s is now serving Chiang Mai gourmet burgers designed by a world class Michelin Chef Jaseba E Jimenez de Jimenez has a vast culinary history that includes cooking for three US presidents, the presidents of both China and Japan, and managing the gastronomy kitchen that serves the British Royal Family, not to mention countless Michelin star restaurants and tenures in Gordon Bleu and the Spanish culinary academy. With a passion in food science, the burgers at Uncle J’s are unlike any in Chiang Mai. Try the Ubonian, a chorizo themed burger served with special sauces and fried potato, or their Spanish omelette burger, a real breakfast treat. For Spanish food fans, try the Lomo Adobado, a traditional sandwich only available at Uncle J’s.

The views are spectacular and it is best to arrive around 5pm for the lovely sunsets.
