Arrive at Terra’s sumptuous bar for a glass of bubbly and a chat before heading to your tables, all up close to the stage, and well-spaced from each other. The exceptional wines flow freely as dish after delightful dish appears from Terra’s kitchens.
The concert itself is performed by a pair of world class musical masters, Korawij Davahastin Na Ayudhya (Baritone) and Auranus Yuenyonghattaporn (Soprano) who sing songs from classic Italian operas to crowd-pleasing musical hits and even a couple of classical Thai songs. The couple wends their way around the guests, at some points even microphone free, soaring like sirens.
The romantic gardens of Terra make for a perfect setting – dripping grape vines, towering teak trees, lush foliage. That, combined with a split-screen backdrop featuring Terra’s organic farm just up the mountain, from where the kitchen’s produce come, enhance the entire experience.
It is intimate, friendly, and simply fabulous. This is opera on a level rarely seen in Chiang Mai.
If you want to just go for the concert, you can, but if you are up for it, the entire experience is well worth the extra baht.
