Okay, so there is no real betting going on here but these three places require you to take a gamble, be it with your skin, your dice roll or your stomach. Have some fun and do something extraordinary this month!

Bloodline Tattoo Chiang Mai
Bloodline Tattoo has opened here in Chiang Mai following its success in Phuket. The brand is becoming recognisable amongst tattoo lovers here in Thailand, known for specialising in producing great quality tattoos for both locals and tourists. The studio has a number of award winning artists too, winning 1st for Black & Grey, 1st for Big Job and 2nd place for Realistic at the 2018 Chiang Mai Tattoo Convention. The studio is Australian owned and the staff speak English, Thai and Chinese. Bloodline Tattoo uses the best imported inks and disposable tattoo equipment and they hold a full tattoo license in Thailand. The shop is sterile but modern and the staff are welcoming and always excited to help design and explore your wildest dreams and make them a reality. Stop by for a walk-in consultation or contact ahead and make a booking.

Golden Goblin Games
The goblin is back, and now out of his hole near Mae Jo, he has ventured to a new cave a little closer to the city. From dice rolls to card draws, voting and scheming, the games they have on offer suit any play style. If you are new to the board game scene, their collection can be a little overwhelming as they are now one of the largest board game suppliers in the whole country. So if nothing catches your eye, why not check out their bestseller list to pick up a classic. Dixit, Bang!, Spledor, Catan and Coup are all on there, with a selection of games now coming in Thai language versions too. Citylife’s staff seems to be delighted as it’s just a few doors down from us, but if you live far from Chiang Mai, fret not, they deliver nationwide too!

Open 2pm – 8pm (Wednesdays – Sundays)
555/151 Fifth Avenue Business Park
(Opposite Ruam Choke Market)

Rose’s Roadhouse & New York Style Pizza
If you are a big fan of big pizza then this may be the place you need to check out next time you get that big time craving. Rose’s Roadhouse is the newest and arguably the most exciting American restaurant in the city thanks to their giant portions with matching big bold flavours. Don’t settle for anything less than their 25 inch New York style pizza that is served on a tray so big, it needs its own stool. The pizza uses over a kilo of cheese and piles on the toppings, so it’s best if you share it with a friend…or twelve. Even their smallest size is big, at 14 inches! We recommend Rose’s Special, with salami, ham, sausage, onions, mushrooms and olives. They also have other amazingly lavish, finger-licking dishes like the full rack of ribs (no ends cut off) slathered with a well-balanced homemade barbeque sauce and served with coleslaw and fries, juicy meatball sandwiches and chicken wings sold in portions of eight to 50 pieces with a selection of dips like BBQ, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper and hot. The restaurant has its own smoker too, so if you enjoy smoked goods or want to fill your fridge with bacon, sausages, pulled pork and more, then why not grab yourself a take home bag!

Open 11am – 9.30pm (Closed on Tuesdays)
44/21 Somprio Road, Mae Hia
