Zombie Café Maerim Chiang Mai
Don’t be put off by the flesh-eating name, this is actually a beautiful and bucolic resort-style café and restaurant with views to seriously boast about. Set at the foothills of the Doi-Suthep Pui, just past the Four Seasons Resort, this little café is perfect for nature lovers looking to get out of the city for a few hours. Sit and dangle your feet in the stream while sipping a cool drink, grab a seat on the balcony with lush views of the forest or climb up the tree house for some 360 degree panoramas. There are deckchairs, bar stools, bean bags, proper tables and chairs and an assortment of seating options in all sorts of nooks and crannies.
The food is definitely interesting and you will have fun going through the menu choosing between fried zombie of yellow noodles with prawns, the corn som tum which comes with cheese balls, the spicy zombie of water spinach with crispy rice noodles or more familiar sounding dishes such as the German pork knuckle, the grilled ribs, pizza or pasta dishes.
