The Vorra Bistro

The award winning exclusive The Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel has now opened a city restaurant in the old city moat. The elegant dining room built of teak wood and floor to ceiling glass panes to let in the light is designed for a great dining experience.

For the summer months, The Vorra Bistro will be offering salmon laab a twist to the traditional Northeastern spicy pork or beef salad with cubed pieces of salmon marinated to perfection and served with all the accoutrements which normally accompany a good laab. This is both a healthy and very tasty dish.

The slightly spicy green chicken curry fried ice wrapped in nori served with thick green curry chicken, dried shrimps and egg combines two popular cuisines in a unique way. But if you are hankering for something more traditional, then give the classic tom yum kung or hung-le curry a go.

And if spice is just a tad too much heat for this time of the year, simply order some of the delicious Italian dishes such as the penne with pesto sauce and basil leaves topped with scallops and walnuts or the smoked salmon pizza or the parma ham pizza.
