Pastry Chef Saruda wakes up hours before dawn even thinks about cracking each day and heads into her bakery at Krisp Cafe to create magic. This award-winning chef’s multiple bakeries around town had won national awards for their high standards in baking exquisite classical French as well as modern pastries, having honed her skills under the training of the world’s top pastry chefs, and is the current talk of the town. If you have a sweet tooth, then make sure you stop by Krisp Café if you ever feel like a divine bite.

While there are the staple favourites served at Krisp Café every day, Pastry Chef Saruda is known for her experimentation and innovation, consistently producing some of the best pastries to be found in our northern city.
She has recently been working on a series of flans – all a-quivering in their firm sweetness and held together in a cocoon of the finest of pastries.

There is the vanilla flan which sits gently wobbling in a cloak of flakey pastry which takes three days to produce, the cookies chocolate lava flan with the soft comforting cookie bites interspersed with cool smooth chocolate, the caramel lava flan which simply oozes buttery sweetness and the Thai tea flan which should offer up familiar Thai flavours in a fancy French guise.

But if you aren’t into flans, you still can dig into all sorts of sweet delights from the classic Danish, the caramel pudding, mango or strawberry Danish, the chocolate matcha lava or the sinfully decadent log croissants which are filled with Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut, mixed berry cream cheese and even a German sausage!

Just in time for Christmas, if you fancy a German stollen cake, you can also order one up for the festive season, So head to their fantastic café behind Rajabhat University where you can spend hours picking and choosing your next bite in an art décor building filled with art which sits on a lovely garden.
