Duangtawan Hotel’s Marco Polo Restaurant serves up a truly generous buffet, with a wide variety of cuisines and dishes offered daily between Mondays and Thursdays. Chef Rattapol Taewsamart oversees the gastronomic spread which covers many world cuisines. Start off with something a bit healthy at the salad bar, so you can over-indulge guilt-free later! Here there are four salad dressings to add flavour to your fresh organic produce. Next, move onto the savoury dishes which include fried rice with pork, stir-fried mixed vegetables with oyster sauce, sour soup with fish and mixed veggies, shrimp potted with vermicelli and many other dishes.
The BBQ is a big hit, so make room for that, as you can get your favourite protiens cooked to order; seafood, chicken, pork and beef. There is a sea-food-on-ice bar where New Zealand mussels, river prawns and all manner of tasty morsels from the sea can be found, all of which are accompanied by spicy, BBQ, mushrooms or cocktail sauces.
