Who doesn’t love an indulgent lazy brunch? Especially when the weather is as fine as it has been recently.
There has been a dearth of good brunch spots since the pandemic hit so many. But we are happy to say that more and more restaurants are looking to offer brunches this winter, and here is Medium Rare, leading the charge.
If you haven’t been, this is a very pleasant and casual restaurant just out of the city centre famous for all things meat! However, for brunch, they have pivoted to have created a full variety menu, offering something for just about everyone – healthy, vegan, vegetarian.
We recommend their open-faced sandwiches to start with. Before you dismiss this simple-sounding dish, wait til you hear what’s on the face of the sandwich!
Medium rare, thinly sliced pieces of Wagyu is served with Raclette cheese, flown in straight from the Alps. Or the egg and bacon open sandwich with thick generous slices of bacon.
Then there is the house eggs Benedict which is delicious. But if you are looking for something more traditional, don’t worry, they have the whole English breakfast available – baked beans and all!
Or you can go for a healthy yoghurt; if you must. Mix, match, share or go solo, there are plenty of fun options and this is a great spot for those of you living the Hang Dong way.
