Old-House-cafe-4 We love how so many of Chiang Mai’s businesses make such an effort to preserve old buildings, each lovingly restored house, adding value to our cityscape. This 100 year old wooden house has been renovated into a charming café in the heart of the city, surrounded by a shady garden, perfect to settle in with a good book, or if you must, a laptop of work.

OMG is the house favourite, a cool long sip of a smoothie with anchan flowers, lime and a cheeky shot of espresso. If you are still needing a caffeine fix then try the mucha berry which is smoothly delicious. Had enough coffee for the day? Take a sweet sip of the old love, an aromatic blend of rose and lychee, or sample any of an assortment of premium Japanese teas available.

If are hungry, then the chicken quesadilla is a quick and easy dish, or for a larger bite go for the BBQ spare ribs. They also do all day breakfasts.

Old House Café also has a small coffee school where groups of 5-10 can come for studying the coffee course, wander its gallery or even hold a meeting in their meeting room. Basically they want you to feel at home, settle in and enjoy the experience.
