Tengoku San Kamphaeng
The Tengoku Japanese Restaurant empire expands. There is the posh branch in Tasala, the trendy branch on Nimmanhaemin and now the country branch in Mae On. This spectacular property with a three hole golf course, three man-made lakes and numerous vegetable patches and greenhouses is part of Tengoku’s dedication to organic and quality ingredients. Leftovers from the other two restaurants are recycled to feed the fish in the ponds or used as fertiliser and the circle of life produces all the greens for all three restaurants. The views are spectacular and it is best to arrive around 5pm for the lovely sunsets. For a ‘til the end of year promotion only you can pay 900 baht each and receive a generous set of hamachi, tuna and salmon sashimi, a plate of beef wagyu, enkawa and Hokkaido scallops and also a sakura and botan flower soup. Following this, you can order to your heart’s content from 30 menu items. This price also includes water and green tea. A wonderful new food destination.
