If you are looking for a pleasant evening of people watching and sipping a fine brew HOBS is the prime location.  It is set at the front of Kantary Terrace on Nimmanhaemin.  Settle in with a 250 baht pint of Hoegaarden (and Rosee), Leffe, or Stella on draught (150 for half a pint) or choose from two dozen other types of bottled beer (180-580), imported from all over the globe. House wine is available for non-hopheads and a small but strong selection of western bites will satisfy – from snacks like Belgian fries (with yummy dips like pesto and aioli), nachos and mixed sausages or meals like chicken orange salad, sirloin steak and pork chops (ranging from 120-400 baht a plate). The setting is hip and homey, all industrial style wooden tables and an eclectic mix of artfully arranged light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, while a guy cooks up hotdogs at an outdoor grill on the open-air deck.
