TTM Chiang Mai Draw Three Games in a Row
CityNews – On 12th August, ‘Northern Tigers’ TTM Chiang Mai, currently in last position in the Thai Premier League, played at home game against the ‘Gentleman Rangers’, Army United.
Players struggling with the water
The game started with good attacking football from Army United, however in 20th minute, Leonardo Ferreira, the TTM Brazilian striker, headed the ball into the net to make it1-0 to the home team. After losing a goal, Army United tried to equalise, but they were denied by TTM’s goalkeeper who was in the superb form. The first half ended 1-0.
The second half started with heavy rains and the pitch soon became waterlogged making the players clumsy. In the 65th minute Army United leveled when Pakasit Sansuk scored to make it 1-1. Then in the 75th minute, Eak-Atit Somjit scored for TTM Chiang Mai to make it 2-1. Chiang Mai didn’t stay in front long however and lost a goal in the dying minutes to finish the game at 2-2.
