Office of Tourism Development and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau Hosts Miracle Thailand ‘Believe in Chiang Mai’

CityNews – 20th – 21st August, at Chiang Mai Hall, Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport, the Office of Tourism Development and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau will be holding a seminar and exhibition titled ‘Miracle Thailand Believe in Chiang Mai.’

The purpose of the convention is to brainstorm ideas about tourism as well as to focus on Chiang Mai becoming a complete MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions) city. The exhibition includes brand management, creative ideas concerning MICE, future technology, as well as tourism exhibitions.   

MICE is a business-related initiative of the government, focusing on things like international meetings, international incentives, international conventions or international exhibitions. The aim is to attract high-spending tourists. MICE tourists travel to specific locations close to where meetings are held, bringing quality tourists from abroad. It’s thought that these tourists spend 3-4 times longer in a location than the average tourists.
