Merchants and Tourists Attacked by Youth Gang Armed with Machetes and Bats at Warorot Market

CityNews – Nine teenagers have been arrested for attacking merchants and tourists at Warorot Market on 2nd September, around 7.30 p.m. Police said the workers and tourists had tried to stop a fight between rival gangs a few days earlier and so the gang came back later for revenge.

Police say this is the gang

The police did not say if anyone was seriously hurt although they did report injuries of tourists and Thais, while they also arrested the gang with some dangerous looking weapons. The gang was arrested at a rented house on Chang Moi Road.
