CityNews – In an effort to further create awareness of the dangers of drug abuse some of Chiang Mai’s highest profile crime fighters got together to talk about how they might rescue the city’s citizens from the plague of drugs.
Men Against Drugs
On Wednesday 13th June, 9 a.m., M.L. Panadda Dissakul, the Governor of Chiang Mai met with the Office of the Chiang Mai Drug Control Policy, Police Region 5, and the Office of Narcotics Control Board Region 5, to discuss an upcoming anti-drug event in accordance with International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26th June. The event will take place at 700 Anniversary Stadium from 9 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.
The activities include Thai country songs with a dancing contest, a band contest, a drawing contest, five-a-side football, To Be Number One product contest, 9 anti-drug exhibits for kids, auctions and more.
