The region 5 bomb squad

The police arrived with a bomb squad from Police Region 5. They shut down the street and found an object shaped like a can of spray wrapped with electrical tape. The squad immediately knew it was homemade bomb. The bomb, after being hoisted up with a rope and safely put into a large sand filled bucket, was taken away.

The police first assumed that it might belong to a group of teenagers who may have had a conflict with a nearby pub or nightclub. The police added that the bomb was badly made and certainly not made by a professional. However, the bomb could have exploded easily had it been moved.
