Gang Poses as Tour Operators and Steal from Tourists

CityNews – The tourist police recently uncovered a group of men who had been posing as tour operators and selling Bangkok to Chiang Mai trips and then robbing the tourists at some point during the journey.

The operators

On 17^th May tourist police commander Adisorn Ngamjitsuksri informed the media that they had arrested a group of fake tour operators after police had received many complaints about tourists’ belongings going missing.  

The gang of four posed as one driver and three ticket collectors. Police told the media that when the tourists went to sleep the ticket collectors would go through their belongings and take valuables.
