Cutting Down on the Seven Days of Danger

April 4, 2012

CityNews – Mayor Tassanai Buranupakorn attended the ‘98 HAPPYTIME Drink No Drive No Accident’ campaign on April 3rd. The campaign hopes to help educate people not to drink and drive during the New Year and make the ‘Seven Days of Danger’ a safer time. A large number of deaths and disabilities are caused by alcohol consumption, says the campaign.

Radio Thailand Chiang Mai and the radio show ‘HAPPYTIME on FM 98 MHz’ organised the campaign, along with other public and private organizations in order to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking alcohol and driving drunk. The ‘Drink No Drive’ parade will start from Tha Pae Gate and move around the moat along the way handing out stickers and information sheets.
