CityNews – The Royal Thai Traffic Police force in Chiang Mai recently held a skills and ability workshop on the large free space at Prasertland Project next to the Irrigation Canal Road in Suthep sub-district.

Keeping the Peace…

The workshop was established by the Nationwide Police Department to train traffic police to be prepared, develop skills and knowledge for effective crowd control in various situations that may arise. There were also team building exercises to build better relationships and unity between police in Chiang Mai and police from the other provinces in the north of Thailand.

During the workshop it became evident that the Chiang Mai traffic police did not all have full or identical uniforms. As a result on 30th August there was a donation ceremony where Chiang Mai Province Royal Thai Police’s Finance Co-operative donated 100,000 baht towards new uniforms, the owner of Prasertland Project also donated an additional 30,000 baht.
