CityNews – A local company came under fire recently for failing to meet regulatory safety conditions concerning its construction products.

Men in Black or Reel Steel?

On 28th May, Supab Kleekhajai, the Deputy Minister of Industry, together with a committee from the Ministry of Industry and Thai Industrial Standards Institute, were brought to investigate Tor Kehaphan Limited Company on Chiang Mai – Hangdong Road.

Products of the company, mainly hot and cold-formed steel and steel used in concrete, have been sequestrated according to quality control policies made by the Ministry of Industry. The steel will be chopped into small pieces and sent back to the company.
