Chiang Mai’s Kanchanaphisek Public Park to Get Make-Over
Citynews – The small, abandoned park right next to Suan Prung Psychiatric hospital was inspected by Chiang Mai mayor Tassanai Buranupakorn and his administration team on April 25th. The good news for many residents in search of more green spaces is that the park be renovated and some time this year it will be ready for people to visit.
The park is 16,000 square metres in size, and one of few much needed green public spaces in Chiang Mai. It is reported that when compared to the population of Chiang Mai then there is around 3 metres of green space per person, which is considered very low.
