Chiang Mai Night Safari Targeting Tourists from Iran and the Middle East
CityNews – Chiang Mai Night Safari, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), invited 20 representatives from leading tourism companies in Iran and the Middle East for a tour of the Night Safari, in hopes of promoting tourism in Chiang Mai to new markets in the Middle East.

The representatives were presented with a Table Top Sale activity that introduced them to Chiang Mai’s main tourist hotspots, and given a tour of the Night Safari. They also dined at the Safari’s Giraffe Restaurant.
Wisoot Buachum, director of the Tourism Authority’s Dubai and Middle East Department stated that the office was specifically hoping to draw in families and large tour groups. Dr. Sarawut Srisakul, area manager of the Chiang Mai Night Safari, also stated that the Night Safari was working to penetrate the tourist market in the Middle East as well as in China.
