Chiang Mai Governor Becomes Play Actor
CityNews – As part of the celebration of the New Year Ku ceremony (Mae Ku was the 17th monarch of the Mengrai Dynasty (1263-1578), who ruled northern Thailand from 1551 to 1564), the Chiang Mai governor M.L. Panadda Diskul, showed residents of Chiang Mai that he had a so far undiscovered acumen for acting on April 17th at Wat Suan Dok.
He played the role of Chao Kawila, the first ruler of Chiang Mai who consolidated the Lanna kingdom.
