600,000 Amphetamine Pills Found in Phrao District

CityNews – On 14th September, 9 a.m. at Chiang Mai International Airport, Police General Preawpan Damapong the Commander of Thailand Royal Police came to Chiang Mai to take four drug dealers to Bangkok.

Police General Preawpan Damapong with the arrested menSamran Sanluang (47), Phongsapak Ruengkijsuwan (41), Somyod Laomee (42) and Nopporn Panasirisomboon (22) were arrested on 13th September in Phrao district with 600,000 amphetamine pills.

Before the arrest, Phrao police station received a report from the Thailand Royal Police in Bangkok saying that dealers would be bringing drugs into the Phrao district. The police therefore set up a checkpoint at Ban Khun Jae – Wiang Pa Pao.
