12,000 Pseudoephedrine Pills Found on Bus

CityNews – A bus was stopped at a road check point 9th September and 12,000 Pseudoephedrine pills were found.

On 9th September, 6 p.m., officers from Phamuang police force stopped a bus at Ban Pha Hong, Chaiprakarn district. The bus was heading to Chiang Mai city.

When officers checked the bus they found a man called Pao Tao whom they said was acting suspiciously. Under his seat officers found a fertiliser bag and found 12,000 tablets of Sulidine, a brand of pills containing pseudoephedrine.

Pao Tao told police he was told that in the San Makokwhan area Sulidine pills sell for 1.90 baht a pill. He decided buy a package and deliver them himself to Phathumthani (near Bangkok) so he might sell them for 2.50 baht a pill.
