Last night police arrested the 67 year old abbot of Wat Ton Kaew in Hang Dong for incident acts with a minor. According to police a 15 year old girl told her family earlier this week that the monk had been hugging, kissing, touching and inappropriate with her. Each year villagers living near the Wang Muang and Wang Kwai waterfalls on Doi Inthanon National Park have set up temporary stalls by the waterfall in summer. This usually happens around this time of the year and lasts for a month or so until the rains. Two firefighters were injured earlier today injured when they stopped on a landline or an unexploded ordnance in Chai Prakarn district.
