News released from the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association. The Government Lottery Office  & the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association proudly present A Charity Performance by Youths helping Youths Project  “The Little Mermaid 2020”

The Government Lottery Office, The Australian Teachers Of Dancing and The ATOD Children & Youth Development Association have organized charity performance of “The Little Mermaid 2020” to be performed at the Kad Theatre in Chiang Mai on Sunday, 25th October 2020. The two hour show times are 12.00 hrs. and 15.30 hrs. Proceed will go towards the underprivileged and orphan youths in Chalermprakiet 48th Pansa School under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Mom Luang Preeyapun Sridhavat; Winner of Help Women, Help Themselves Beyond 2000 Award in 1999 from Canada; an Asia-Pacific Inspired Woman Award winner 2002 from Singapore; an outstanding ASEAN Woman Entrepreneur Award winner 2015 from Vietnam; an Avril Binzer Memorial Award winner 2019 for Outstanding Person in Dance Education from Australia and Woman of Impact Award winner 2020 from the Philippines as an Artistic Director.

Main principal casts are foreign and Thai ballet dancers who have received the outstanding prizes including the 1st prizes, 2nd prizes, 3rd prizes, gold, silver medals from many International dance competitions in Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines and have performed on overseas stage such as Japan, Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. Their names are as follows: Nalinpun Karunnaraporn, Paopanga Karunnaraporn, Pakkhaporn Eiamtap, Timarin Wing Holmes, Gorboon Sriyaphaya, Trong Rattanadumrongaksorn, Prima Boonkaeo, Jetnipit Ticome, Yatawee Ponsuremas, Panphrueksa Mangkalasawat, Phurichaya Sumonsiri, Miyuki Ohashi, Arachaphorn Malimas, Pitchayapa Malaphan, Shacriya Decharat, Mr. Chanakarn Panpijit from Bangkok City Ballet and Mr. Sathonthorn Proramattamasakol from Bangkok City Ballet and Dance Plus Academy.

There are more than 150 dance students as support dancers from the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. The Chiang Mai Ballet Academy has been bestowed the Royal Award for a school of the Highest Standards by H.M. the King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The KAD Theatre normally has 1,600 seats but are now available only 800 seats for social distancing reason. Therefore, limit number of ticket are being sold at the prices of 1,100; 900; 600; 400 and 300 Baht. (Special group rates for students will also be available).

Ticket sales will be at the information counter; ground floor, Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Complex, the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association and at the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy.

There are many prizes from Chiang Mai City’s best restaurants such as famous Le Coq d’Or, French Restaurant, Woo Cafe, and the Michelin’s BIB Gourmard”Saiyud & Mor Sai”, for door prizes and for the audience who wear best colorful dresses as well.
