An inspiring cultural experience that bridges the heritage of Lanna and the vibrancy of Bharat (India) through cinema, wellness, and creative lifestyle. This thoughtfully curated evening invites audiences to explore the richness of Indian culture while celebrating meaningful connections across traditions.

The Indian Film & Cultural Evening presents a journey of friendship, adventure, and the search for life’s deeper meaning through a dynamic and immersive program.

This event is organized by the Consulate of India in Chiang Mai, the Indian Studies Center, Chiang Mai University, and Chiang Mai Wellbeing Social Enterprise, with support from Wellness Hills 1269+ and BWell International Ecosystem.

The highlight of the evening is a special screening of the acclaimed Bollywood film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a celebrated story of friendship, self-discovery, and living life to the fullest.

Prior to the screening, a multi-sensory cultural experience unfolds across a series of themed zones. Guests can explore a fusion of Lanna and Indian flavors, unwind with a sound bath session combining Tibetan singing bowls and sitar music, and engage in creative heritage activities such as henna art and spice-inspired crafts. Digital engagement takes center stage with an AI-powered Bollywood transformation experience, while family-friendly activities and traditional Indian games create a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. A Lanna-Indian styled electric tuk-tuk installation adds a distinctive visual highlight to the event.

The “Magic of Bharat Dress & Spirit of Lanna” photo contest celebrates creativity through traditional Indian attire, including saree, lehenga choli, kurta, sherwani, and dhoti. Submissions are open from 21–27 March 2026, with the grand finale taking place live at the event.

The grand prize is a luxury wellness experience at Insda Wellness Resort, featuring a one-night Premier Deluxe stay for two, a fusion dinner and breakfast, and an Ayurvedic spa experience with the signature Shirodhara Therapy for deep relaxation and holistic wellbeing.

More than an event, this is a celebration of culture, creativity, and human connection through the power of cinema and lifestyle.
