Chiang Mai Book Fair Movie Screening

A call for all filmbuff! Four specially selected films will be screen during the Chiang Mai Book Fair. This is a rare chance to see these quality independent films on big screen with an indulging sound system. English subtitles provided. Tickets 100 baht and 80 baht (students).

Eternity

From 5.30 – 8pm

A story of a man who returns after his death to his youths and the best moments of his life with his wife and son. The film has won Tiger Award and a Grand Prix from Deauville Asian Film Festival.

3rd July

Toni Erdmann

5 – 8pm.

“Practical joker Winfried disguises himself as flashy “Toni Erdmann” to get busy Ines’ attention and change her corporate lifestyle. The father-daughter challenge reaches absurd proportions until Ines begins to see that her eccentric father deserves a place in her life.” The film has been screened at the previous Cannes Film Festival

5th July.

Nakorn – Sawan

‘Nakorn-Sawan is the story of a family taking a journey together to accompany the recently departed to “heaven”.’
