Clay oven workshop

August 28 - August 29

Join us for a fun weekend playing in the mud and co-creating an oven we will enjoy together for future pizza nights!

This two day workshop will teach you the natural building techniques you need to make a clay oven. We will use cob (clay and straw mixed together), light straw clay, natural plasters and paints.

Natural building doesn’t use harsh chemicals, so it’s safe to stick your hands right in, and great for the whole family. No experience is necessary, just your hands and some clothes you don’t mind getting muddy.

About me: I am a natural builder and regenerative designer living and working in Chiang Mai. I learned mud building here 4 years ago and haven’t been able to stop since, jumping to help local build projects every chance I get.

The venue: Din dee farm is a small urban farm 10km south of Chiang Mai city. We grow organic vegetables, keep chickens and are starting to have more community events to share this lovely space with you. We have protection from the sun and rain, lots of parking and plenty of space to rest if you need a break.

Price 2500 baht per adult if paid before 1 Sept, 3000 baht after. Children 500 baht with an adult. Includes 2 days workshop and lunches!
