Reconnecting

La Luna Gallery takes great pleasure in inviting you to our upcoming exhibition ‘Reconnecting’ which will showcase over 20 Chiang Mai artists representing several different mediums and techniques.

In these difficult times, La Luna recognizes the hardships for local artists and seeks to ‘Reconnect’ Chiang Mai with the artistic community within the city. All art will be for sale as a way to support the livelihoods of our represented artists. The artists involved, including established talents, up and comers as well as two exclusive student showcases, will all attend the event to engage with the art community and provide further insight into their work.

One of the artists will also be creating a new painting live throughout the evening for auction by La Luna Gallery with 100% of the proceeds going to the “Mouth and Foot Painting Artist Association”, an organization that supports disabled artists.

The Gallery

La Luna Gallery is based in a grand old colonial-style house built in 1936 on the banks of the Ping River. The recent refurbishment has turned the building into one of the most unique art galleries in Thailand. With a focus on contemporary Southeast Asian art, La Luna Gallery boasts a stunning collection of paintings and sculptures from Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and further afield.

Please join for the opening night of ‘Reconnecting’ on October 9th at 6pm. The exhibition will run until November 1st, 2020 with the gallery open every day.
