INK: Neo Lanna Dance – Performance & Artist Talk

Fah Lanna Art Museum presents “INK: Neo Lanna Dance,” a contemporary performance that transforms the human body into a living brush, blending movement, music, and visual art in a unique exploration of Lanna culture.

Created by choreographer Ronnarong Khampha in collaboration with musicians Wittaya Phonwithoon, Witsarut Tawinno, and Torpong Samerjai, the performance reinterprets traditional Lanna dance through a contemporary lens while remaining deeply connected to its cultural roots.

Inspired by the idea that ink is not merely a mark on a surface but a living movement, the work explores the relationship between body, space, time, and memory. Through contemporary artistic expression, it offers a fresh perspective on Lanna cultural identity and heritage.

Following the performance, audiences are invited to join an Artist Talk with the creators, providing an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the creative process and artistic concepts behind the work.
