Adèle, a child that grown up in our Red Iron Space, is so well known to us because her parents work and got married here.

There are many times, her mother asks us to babysit her but more and more lately we’ve called her to come and play with us.

We’ve known her since she can’t speak then… a set of words and phrases. Once Adèle loved to say A-Laiii (In English means “what”) in French accent like her father.

Since we’ve got a chance to setup a gallery in middle of Red Iron Space, we’d love to open our gallery with our most beloved one, a girl who has put her naively honest into work, an artwork that has been collected for her whole life!

Empty day Gallery team picked some of her works that she did with us both here and at her home to exhibit. And We’d like to have this opportunity to open our new gallery in the informal acquaintance way with our intimate artist…

อะเดล (Adèle) เด็กน้อยที่พวกเราในเวิ้งเหล็กแดง รู้จักกันดี พวกเราคิดกันเล่นๆ ว่าอะเดลเกิดที่เหล็กแดง พ่อกับแม่ทำงานที่นี่ แต่งงานที่นี่ อะเดลจึงเติบโตมากับพี่ๆ ที่อยู่ละแวกนี้

บ่อยๆ ที่คุณแม่พามาฝากให้พวกเราช่วยเล่น ช่วยดูแล พักหลังๆ พวกพี่ๆ ต่างหากที่เป็นฝ่ายไปขอให้คุณแม่พาอะเดลมาเล่นกับพวกเราหน่อย

พวกเรารู้จักอะเดลมาตั้งแต่ยังพูดไม่ได้ ไปจนถึงหัดพูดชุดคำแรกๆ มีช่วงหนึ่งอะเดลติดพูดคำว่า “อะไร” (ในสำเนียงแบบพ่อที่เป็นคนฝรั่งเศส)

คำนี้แหละ เหมาะกับชื่อนิทรรศการของอะเดลที่สุด!
อะลายยย … A-LINE

วันนี้ เรามีแกลเลอรี่ที่ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเวิ้ง เราเลยอยากเปิดตัวแกลเลอรี่ ด้วยศิลปินที่พวกเรารักที่สุด คนที่สร้างงานแต่ละครั้งออกมาอย่างซื่อตรงที่สุด งานที่รวบรวมมาทั้งชีวิต ของศิลปินอายุ 2 ขวบคนนี้ ทีมงาน EMPTYDAY Gallery จึงทดลองหยิบงานที่อะเดลวาดเล่นที่บ้าน รวมทั้งที่มาวาดกับพวกเราที่นี่ มาจัดแสดง

ถือโอกาสนี้เปิดแกลเลอรี่แบบเป็นกันเอง ด้วยคนกันเอง …
