Classic Thai Films Screening

The National Film and Video Committee from the The National Federation of Thai Film Associations has selected 70 outstanding films from over four thousands films that have been produced during the reign of His Majesty the late King Rama IX. Nine of these films are being screened here in Chiang Mai at SFX Cinema MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Centre, for free, between May 24th and 27th. The programme includes the Palme d’Or winner, Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, and more. The opening ceremony was joined by the Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai and the legendary actor Sombat Metanee.
