Young DEV CAMT 2026 Concludes, Showcasing Northern Thailand’s Emerging Software Talent

The College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University, has successfully concluded its Young DEV CAMT New Generation 2026 programme, culminating in an intensive Hackathon final held from 28–29 March 2026 at Wintree City Resort Chiang Mai.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Jiravit Yanjinda, Associate Dean of CAMT, who presented certificates and announced the winners, marking the programme’s successful completion.

Launched on 10 January 2026, the initiative aimed to equip upper secondary school students from across Northern Thailand with essential digital and software development skills. Over the course of nearly three months, participants undertook a structured learning journey in website design and development, combining expert-led lectures with intensive hands-on training.

The programme culminated in a competitive Hackathon, where students applied their knowledge to develop web-based solutions addressing real-world challenges—from tackling online scams and cyber fraud to proposing approaches for managing energy and fuel crises. The initiative underscores a commitment to fostering socially responsible innovation and empowering youth to further develop their ideas into sustainable digital solutions.
