Two Star Michelin Chef Anthony Genovese at Shangri La Hotel

Local media were invited to the Shangri La Hotel to sample the cuisine from Anthony Genovese, a two star  Michelin chef from Il Pagliaccio restaurant in Italy.

From July 24 – 28 A unique journey through Italian cuisine at Shangri La Hotel – Indulge in a unique culinary journey by savoring succulent flavors, skillfully blended by chef Anthony Genovese. Anthony Genovese has worked in several two and three Michelin-starred restaurants while he lived in France and Italy and spent several years at three Michelin-star Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence. He then became head chef at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Tokyo for a year. Upon his return to Italy he opened his own restaurant Il Pagliaccio, and soon received two Michelin stars. Gifted cook, genius and generous Anthony Genovese named his restaurant after the opera Pagliacci by Leoncavallo “clowns, just like cooks, Genovese says, are always on the spotlights, in representation, and have to be the best, no matter what is behind the mask”.
