THE RITUAL: FIRE & SHADOW FESTIVAL 2026 Enchants Lanna Culture, Creating an Unforgettable Art and Fire Show Experience at Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai
The RITUAL: FIRE & SHADOW FESTIVAL 2026, an arts and culture festival blending Lanna charm with contemporary art, concluded impressively at Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai. Organized by Amber Circle Co., Ltd., the festival offered attendees an immersive experience of local art and wisdom throughout the day, before transitioning into a stunning nighttime atmosphere illuminated by a spectacular light show – a highlight of the festival.
On October 24, 2026, the event was filled with vibrant Lanna cultural experiences. It began with a merit-making ceremony with 19 monks before welcoming attendees to a variety of activities including cultural performances, art exhibitions, a Lanna handicraft market, and activities promoting local wisdom. These activities reflected the beauty of cultural roots through creative works, cleverly connecting traditional art with contemporary perspectives.
Another highlight of the festival was the nighttime atmosphere, where light and shadow became an integral part of the artistic experience. In keeping with the FIRE & SHADOW concept, the event creates a charming and intriguing atmosphere, featuring a highlight light show that adds dimension to the event and sets it apart from typical arts and culture festivals.
THE RITUAL: FIRE & SHADOW FESTIVAL 2026 is therefore another creative event that reflects Chiang Mai’s potential to leverage its cultural heritage into contemporary experiences, uniquely connecting art, performance, handicrafts, and light. It reinforces Chiang Mai’s image as a city of arts and culture, ready to convey the charm of Lanna through impressive new perspectives
