RIS Phoenix Swimmers supporting CMIRC Children’s Water Safety Program

Chiang Mai International Rotary Club’s (CMIRC) President Shana Kongmun received the donation of 30,000 baht raised by Ruamrudee International School (RIS)Phoenix Swimmers and thanked them for their initiative, action, and commitment to improving Children’s Water Safety in underprivileged local elementary schools. RIS Phoenix Swimmers are a group of students in the high school swim teams of Ruamrudee International School, Bangkok. They traveled to Chiang Mai for this pioneering project which aligns their passions in competitive swimming and community service leadership. Led by Napat Sakulsaengprapha, a group of RIS Phoenix Swimmers contribute will their time and efforts as volunteer CWS trainers for 3 days after fundraising to support the Program, and will discuss potential expansion of the CMIRC CWS Program to Bangkok.
