The Clover Hotel Chiang Mai Elevates Hospitality with Contemporary Design and Green Hotel Concept, Driving Sustainable Tourism in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai – Northern Thailand’s leading tourism destination officially welcomed a new addition to its hospitality landscape as The Clover Hotel Chiang Mai celebrated its Grand Opening on February 28, 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ongart Kittikhunchai, Chairman, and attended by representatives from government agencies, tourism leaders, business associations, and key partners, reflecting strong support from across the sector.
Amid the steady recovery of Thailand’s tourism industry—particularly in Chiang Mai, which remains a key destination for both leisure and business travelers—the launch of The Clover Hotel Chiang Mai represents a forward-thinking approach to hospitality development. The project goes beyond offering accommodation, positioning itself as a contributor to sustainable urban growth. The hotel is owned and managed by Sun Sweet Holdings Co., Ltd., under the Kittikhunchai family group.
The 69-room property is designed in a Modern Minimalist style, emphasizing simplicity, natural light, and integrated floral garden spaces to create a relaxing and environmentally conscious atmosphere. Conveniently located just three kilometers from the city center and in close proximity to the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC), the hotel caters effectively to both leisure travelers and business visitors, domestic and international alike.
In terms of facilities, the hotel offers a full range of amenities including an on-site restaurant, room service, complimentary wireless internet, an outdoor swimming pool, and bicycle services for guests. The property is committed to connecting visitors with the authentic charm and lifestyle of Chiang Mai through community-friendly and environmentally responsible tourism practices, aligning with the growing global focus on sustainable travel.
As part of its corporate social responsibility mission, The Clover Hotel Chiang Mai has pledged to operate in tandem with sustainable social development. In collaboration with hotel associations and private-sector networks, the hotel supports the CSE Blue Fund by contributing a portion of its revenue to Chiang Mai Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. The fund supports environmental initiatives, local economic development, and community quality-of-life enhancement projects throughout Chiang Mai Province.
The launch of The Clover Hotel Chiang Mai not only expands accommodation options within the province but also underscores the vital role of the private sector in shaping a high-quality tourism ecosystem—one that balances economic growth, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility for long-term sustainable development.
