Opening of LEGO at Central Chiang Mai

Central Chiang Mai welcomes the first “LEGO® Certified Store” in the North, opening today with a “Retailtainment” concept, a new meeting point for LEGO fans of all ages.
Chiang Mai: Central Pattana Public Company Limited, the operator of Central shopping centers nationwide, in collaboration with world-class partners, the LEGO Group, a famous Danish toy manufacturer, and DKSH (Thailand) Company Limited, the official distributor of LEGO products in Thailand, launched the first LEGO® Certified Store in the North and the sixth in Thailand at Central Chiang Mai Shopping Center, 2nd floor, covering an area of over 177 square meters under the newest concept, “Retailtainment, combining shopping experiences and full fun, a new meeting point for all LEGO fans.”

Mr. Pornthep Atthakitpaisan, Director of Branch Operations, Region 1, Northern Region, Central Pattana Public Company Limited, and Ms. Kanyaphak Posirin, General Manager, Central Chiang Mai Shopping Center, joined in the opening ceremony.
Central Pattana is moving forward with its landmark family experience, launching the LEGO Certified Store. This truly fulfills its concept of being the lifestyle hub of Northern Thailand, allowing LEGO fans and tourists to enjoy “building their imaginations” and experience world-class brick models up close. The store features a complete collection of LEGO series, including popular and limited-edition items, along with souvenirs such as key chains, accessories, and LEGO Brickheadz™ for collectors. A must-see highlight at Central Chiang Mai is the first LEGO creation of a mother and baby elephant, a symbol of Chiang Mai. This creation, crafted from over 186,000 LEGO bricks, took over 400 hours to assemble, and weighs over 200 kilograms, delicately and beautifully conveys the unique identity of the Lanna people.
