July 22 – 28 Lanna Expo 2025 at Chiang Mai International Convention and Exhibition Center – 10am until 8pm daily- The largest fair of the year. A Regional Showcase Lanna Expo 2025 “Lanna Go Inter” : Taking Northern Thai Innovation to the World. The Upper Northern Region Cluster 1, led by the Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Commercial Affairs, in collaboration with both public and private sector partners, proudly presents Lanna Expo 2025 under the theme “Echo Lanna.” Lanna Expo, being the top trade fair featuring over 900 booths that bring together a comprehensive range of products and services. This event successfully showcases the strength and potential of northern SMEs, building on the continued success of past years. Be captivated by a curated selection of products and services that reflect the essence of Lanna identity in a contemporary form, each with its own story, intrinsic value, and readiness to expand onto the global stage. This is more than a showcase of local excellence. It is the “Echo of Lanna” resonating into the future. With everything brought together in one place, the event serves as a key platform for producers, exporters, and entrepreneurs to engage in business negotiations and forge strategic partnerships with business leaders. The exhibition will take place from 22-28 July 2025 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC).
Now in its 13th edition, Lanna Expo has become one of the largest regional trade platforms in Northern Thailand, showcasing a wide variety of products including lifestyle goods, contemporary fashion, wellness and personal care products, health-focused agricultural items, Lanna-inspired crafts, and home décor. It also features services and activities related to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). More than just a marketplace, the Expo is a hub of creative ideas and cultural design, expressing the unique identity embedded in every product. It serves as a launchpad for community entrepreneurs, SMEs, and artisans, helping them build capacity and confidently move toward national and international success.
The event features 12 distinct exhibition zones. For example, Lanna Essence: Identity Through Culture Zone”, showcasing products connected to local lifestyles, cultures, and ethnic heritage from the Upper Northern Region Cluster 1. “Authentic North: Elevating Local to Global Zone”, presenting products and services that support Chiang Mai and nearby provinces as destinations for business tourism (MICE), “Echo Lanna: Creative Innovation & Business Matching Zone”, highlighting creative products with strong potential for national-level competitiveness, “Innovative industry and Sustainable Agriculture Zone”, a space dedicated to innovative, value-added products and creative solutions. The event also includes special exhibitions such as the UNESCO Creative City Network Pavilion, “ECHO LANNA CURATED,” Geographical Indication (GI) products, and signature items from the Upper Northern Region Cluster 1.
