Opening of Industry Fair Northern Showcase. “Industry Fair – Northern Showcase” A Major Year-End Event Delivering Quality, Standardized Products at Factory Prices, Direct from Producers to Consumers from 3–7 December 2025 At Industrial Promotion Center Region 1, Thung Hotel Road, Mueang District, Chiang Mai The Ministry of Industry, in collaboration with the Chiang Mai Provincial Industry Office, industry offices across the eight Upper Northern provinces, Industrial Promotion Center Region 1, and the Federation of Thai Industries Chiang Mai, officially launched the “Industry Fair – Northern Showcase” on 4 December 2025 at Industrial Promotion Center Region 1. Ms. Duangdao Khaocharoen, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, presided over the opening ceremony. The ceremony commenced with an operational report delivered by Mr. Songkran Moolwijit, Chiang Mai Provincial Industry Officer, who highlighted the objectives of the fair—aimed at promoting stronger linkages among industrial factories, SMEs, and community enterprises across the Upper North. The event provides a platform for showcasing high-quality products at special prices, along with technology and innovation knowledge-sharing activities, business development seminars, and a Business Matching arena that connects both domestic and international entrepreneurs. Key highlights include: Royal Tribute Exhibition: “Thai Industrial Crafts Under the Grace of Her Majesty the Queen Mother.” Factory Outlet Market: Over 60 shops featuring SMEs and community enterprises from eight Upper Northern provinces. Panel Talks, Workshops, and Seminars to enhance entrepreneurial capacity. Business Matching opportunities. Golden Minute Promotions offering exclusive deals. Local Culinary Demonstrations and professional barista coffee-making showcases. Major industry leaders also joined the event with special-price product offerings and complimentary giveaways, including CP RAM Co., Ltd., Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co., Ltd., and Wacoal Lamphun Co., Ltd.—all well-recognized manufacturers trusted by consumers nationwide. This year’s “Industry Fair – Northern Showcase” is supported by promotional funding from the Ministry of Industry and strengthened by collaboration from all regional sectors. The event is expected to generate no less than 10 million baht in economic value for Chiang Mai and the Upper Northern region, while reinforcing consumer confidence in high-quality, standardized products and contributing to long-term sustainable industrial development. The fair is open to the public from 3–7 December 2025, 10:00–20:00 hrs, at Industrial Promotion Center Region 1, Thung Hotel Road, Mueang District, Chiang Mai.
