Bar B Q Plaza Expands Chiang Mai Market with ‘Serious About Seafood’ Campaign

Bar B Q Plaza is strengthening its presence in Chiang Mai with its latest campaign, “Serious About Seafood,” alongside an expanded selection of premium dishes at its Exclusive Store at Central Festival Chiang Mai.

The campaign allows customers to mix and match two seafood dishes for THB 199. Diners can choose one item from Group A — jumbo shrimp, sea bass, premium squid or imported salmon — and pair it with one item from Group B, including fresh shrimp, shrimp balls, jellyfish, squid balls or shrimp marinated in fish sauce.

The set is served with Bar B Q Plaza’s new spicy seafood dipping sauce, accompanied by crispy fried shallots with unlimited refills.

The campaign runs from 28 September to 15 November 2026 at Bar B Q Plaza branches nationwide, except Central Park.

Rath Trakoolthai, Chief Marketing Officer of Food Passion Co., Ltd., said the campaign reflects the brand’s Menu Vision 2026, which focuses on giving customers more freedom to personalise their dining experience according to individual tastes.

The same approach is being applied to Bar B Q Plaza’s expansion in northern Thailand, where the brand currently operates nine branches across Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan and Phitsanulok.

At Bar B Q Plaza Central Festival Chiang Mai, an Exclusive Store, customers can enjoy an expanded premium menu including salmon sashimi, spicy salmon dishes, premium Wagyu sets, Wagyu trio selections, premium pork sets and the rare Tong Toro pork neck.

The initiative is part of the brand’s largest menu transformation in 39 years under the concept “One Size Fits One,” recognising that even when people dine at the same table, everyone has different preferences.

Bar B Q Plaza says it will continue to develop its northern market by listening closely to local customers and adapting its menu, service and overall dining experience to better suit each community.
