Malt Whisky Night at Anantara Resort

A Malt Whisky Dinner was held at The Service 1921, Anantara Chiang Mai Resort.  A five-course dinner, specially created for the occasion by Executive Chef, Simon Volante.  Each enticing and mouth-watering course was paired with a unique Malt Whisky.  In addition, a perfect opportunity for all connoisseurs was the consumer tasting and an up-close chat with Paul Wang, Asia Regional Sales Manager of Douglas Laing. Also at the dinner was Thiemjan Skulpanich; Managing Director of United Beverage (Thailand) Co,. Ltd. which imports and distributors ‘Remarkable Regional Malts’ products under Douglas Laing Company. Douglas Laing is a family-owned Scotch Whisky business with over 70 years of heritage, abiding to the philosophy of presenting Whisky as the Distiller intended with nothing added and nothing taken away from the spirit.  By blending preferred Single Malts from each of Scotland’s Whisky regions, each bottling embodies the overarching characteristics of the region it is sourced from.  If a Single Malt is one solitary violin, a Blended Malt is the entire orchestra!.
