Serene Maerim Villa and Restaurant is the exciting new venture worth checking out in Mae Rim. Nine exquisite suites make up the property, most kitted out with their own sauna, steam room and bathtub. The resort is also home to a wonderful restaurant serving authentic home-cooked Thai food, pretension-free and packed with flavour, at prices that are refreshingly reasonable. It’s a great new spot for lunch or dinner, and just as good a place to put up visiting guests. Charming, through and through.
