Eleven teams compete on the 4th and 5th December 2021 to see who wins the Cup and the Shield trophies. The Thai cricketers from Lamphun are the defending champions having won the inaugural title last year by beating Pattaya in the final. These two teams are joined in the by CM All Stars, PCC Falcons, Parrots and Southerners in the top division which should see some very competitive cricket with no fewer than eight players who have played for Thailand’s men’s team in international cricket including Chanchai who was named player of the tournament last year. The Shield will be a more social competition with Lanna, Lord of the Beers, Lucky Malakas, Shrewsbury Sloggers and Koh Chang competiting in a five team league and there should be plenty of fun both on and off the field. Lanna’s team will include some familiar faces both young and old and the team would love to have as much support as possible.
