May 12 & 13 Fifteen Actors in Search of a Performance at AUA Language Center, Rachadamoen Road (Sunday Walking Street) 7pm – 9pm both nights – “Fifteen Actors in Search of a Performance” has come from the culmination of Stage Acting Workshops over a period of eight weeks consisting of acting and improvisation classes conducted by Stephan Turner, founder and managing director of The Gate Theater. The Gate has been producing live English-language theater for over 15 years. This group has dedicated itself to developing and drawing on local talent to the maximum extent possible; to enhancing the development of theater arts through cooperative ventures with the greater Chiang Mai community. Fifteen short, dramatic and comedic monologues together with seven scenes depicting among other topics, lost love, madness, social justice and life after death, are bound to make a captivating evening of entertainment.
