Chiang Mai Expat Club Meeting at Le Meridien with a talk on Northern Thailand’s Haze Problem.   Marisa Marchitelli presented  her acclaimed documentary “Smoke: A Crisis in Northern Thailand” which explores the impact of the haze problem on health, the environment and the economy. Then, she gave a brief presentation suggesting ways to safeguard our health which was followed by questions from the audience.  Marisa was born in Bangkok and is of Thai, Italian, American heritage. She has been living in Chiang Mai for the past 7 years working as a filmmaker and photographer.
