Devotional Classical Music at Namdhari Gurudwara

Celebrated instrumentalists from India, Arnab Bhattacharya on Sarod and Nilimesh Chakraborty on Tabla mesmerized the audience with their rendition of Rag Baageshri at Namdhari Gurudwara, Chiang Mai. The event was organised in association with Consulate of India, Chiangmai as part of celebration of 75th year of India’s Independence. Three times president of Indian Community in Chiang Mai Ranjeet Singh introduced the artistes and threw light on the importance of Indian classical music.
The acclaimed duo from India would be performing three more concerts in the city, including one at the Consulate premises on 28 June, followed by another at Villa San Pee Seua on the banks of Ping River on 29 June, before rapping up their tour with rendition of Night Ragas at Boys Blue Bar in Night Bazar on May 30.
