Concert in Memory of Jaran Manophet at Landin Project; “Remembering 24 Years of Jaran Manophet” organized by the Chiang Mai Online Media Club.
Led by beloved Lanna musicians including Maimuang, Kru Aed The Salor, Nat Kittisarn (The Pheua), Aom Rattanang, and rising star Patinya Tangtrakul, the event was dedicated to honoring the late Jaran Manophet—the legendary artist who put Northern Thai folk music (folksong kam mueang) on the national stage and gave voice to the beauty of the kam mueang language through song.
More than 30 Lanna bands from across the North will take the stage, each reinterpreting Jaran’s timeless compositions in their own distinctive style. Alongside the music, visitors enjoyed Kad Mua Khua Hom—a vibrant community market filled with local crafts, traditional food, and cultural activities.
